Angry Video Game Nerd

August 16, 2008

I’ve been watching some Angry Video Game Nerd videos lately, and some of them are very hilarious.

Basically, he reviews old, crap games and bags the living shit out of them. Some videos are hilarious, like the Dragon’s Lair video, or the Mario 3/Wizard video.

Searching for the NES | Call of Duty 4 | School

August 15, 2008

Lately, i’ve been watching some Angry Video Game Nerd, and it has me wondering.

… Where the bloody hell is my old NES? I’m pretty sure my mum threw it out ages ago, but it’s worth having a look for. If i don’t find it, i could get one from eBay IF i really wanted to, but that would require money which i’m short of right now. :P

I remember playing the NES like it was yesterday. All the memories.

And i remember having an Atari 2600 as well. When my Atari 2600 got thrown out the first time, i got another one for $1 at my school fair (this was ages ago) and yeah… until that one got thrown out as well. :P

Anyway, enough of that. Let’s talk about some modern games, like Call of Duty 4

I recently got it from a friend of mine, and i have to say, it kicks ass. The graphics look so real, it’s amazing. I haven’t been able to play Multiplayer at my house, but i played Multiplayer at my friend’s house and jesus, i get owned like there is no tomorrow.

Anyway, at school, i hate the school computer network. The main IT teacher who runs the network runs the network like a Nazi camp, and i’m being completely honest here, so instead of being on her network, i’ve been bringing my laptop to school, so i can do work on it, and etc.

She doesn’t like that, so she has complained to the principal to have me suspended, because i’m not on her damn Nazi regime network. It sucks for her though, because before i bought my laptop to school, i asked the principal if i could, and the principal give me a green light.

More blog posts soon.

Why won’t people let New Ages Ads die?

August 15, 2008

This question must be on the lips of mostly everyone, because someone else has taken the challenge of trying to revive New Age Ads, but as we all know, the new owner is destined to fail, but do they listen? The short answer is No, they don’t.

Why would anyone try to bring back something with a bad reptuation? Why not start off with something new? Do people like this just want attention?

Although, a good thing has come out of this news. Someone else other then Deathstarr, or Zunder is re-opening NAA.  An unknown under the username “bk2070″ has taken up the challenge.

He seems like a nice guy, but he has chosen the wrong forum to revive, but hey, prove me wrong.

The InvisionFree Kool Kidz

Usually, when a forum run by one of the “IF Kool Kidz” (Lewis, Cedric, Scotty, etc) closes down, the staff from the closed forum usually migrate to another forum run by the same people, or the staff team of one forum, are all staff on another forum, or something like that.

Like, for example, Forum Boost. Most of the staff at Forum Boost were nearly exactly the same as the staff at Revision Reviews.

Why not make one big forum, instead of having the same staff at two forums?

Sure, it’s ok to do that, but i personally find it a bit weird.
It’s like they only hire people who are in their “club”, instead of other decent people.

This isn’t a rant or anything. Just an observation.

Expect some more blog posts in the future, seeing it’s looking quite empty at the moment.
